An Incredible Evening

Last Saturday night, over 450 of Orange County’s finest were dressed in black tie to celebrate the 50th anniversary of The Lincoln Club of Orange County. For more than 50 years the club has been a prominent political entity in the OC.  The night was a huge success for the club and showcased a tribute to Doy Henley for a lifetime achievement award.  The keynote speaker,”The Architect” himself, Karl Rove gave a glimpse of what to expect in this upcoming election year and the video presentation was very well received from the audience.  The members of the club appaluded and laughed throughout the film.

“ Brilliant.  Very nicely done, David.”         Robert W. Loewen GIBSON DUNN

“Just want to send a big “shout-out” to Clare Venegas ,our esteemed president, Bob Loewen– and ALL the other people who helped create and stage the extraordinary event we enjoyed last night at the Balboa Bay Club.  The 50th-year celebration was an interesting, educational, dynamic, humorous, poignant, nostalgic, and memorable ‘flash-back’ into the club’s history. “
